Good News / Bad News

Good News:

A client presented Long Term Care insurance in June has just expressed interest in buying the product, and the agent just closed the sale in a meeting this morning!


Bad News:

The availability of that carrier product in that state ended in July.


Moral:

Procrastination can be catastrophic!

Insurance Agents: Supreme Court Rules on Health Care

The US Supreme Court Today mandated indvidual health care coverage for all US citizens with private coverage or federal coverage.  Part of these changes include that the higher risks of pre existing conditions must now be covered by carriers that formerly excluded them.  Experts predict this will mean:

1). More difficulty in the process of obtaining health care.
2). Increased costs in private health care coverage. (Which will eventually effect the tax payer funded federal coverage as well.)
